Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced WLAN Developer (Linux) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in WLAN Linux device drivers, firmware development, debugging, and wireless networking protocols. You will work on next-generation Wi-Fi standards, performance optimizations, and cross-platform porting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance WLAN Linux device drivers (preferred: 802.11ax / 802.11be).
  • Work on WLAN firmware development for 802.11ac/n/ax/be standards.
  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution across WLAN components.
  • Integrate and optimize hostapd / wpa_supplicant for embedded Linux systems.
  • Conduct system-level and protocol-level debugging for wireless connectivity issues.
  • Work on cross-compiling, porting, and platform bring-up for new chipsets or hardware.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams for feature enhancements and firmware updates.
  • Ensure stability, scalability, and reliability of WLAN features on embedded platforms.

Skills & QualificationsMandatory Skills:

  • Strong experience with WLAN Linux Device Drivers
  • Hands-on with WLAN Firmware Development standards)
  • Solid understanding of protocols, MAC/PHY layers
  • Experience with hostapd / wpa_supplicant configurations
  • Proficient in Linux kernel, embedded systems, and wireless domain
  • Strong debugging skills — logs, traces, protocol sniffers
  • Experience with cross-compiling, porting, and board bring-up
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and firmware tuning

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Wi-Fi 6 / Wi-Fi ax/be)
  • Familiarity with chipset platforms (Qualcomm, MediaTek, Broadcom, etc.)
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell)
