Manager - Ethics and Compliance Team
InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) is committed to conducting its business with the highest standards of integrity and complying with applicable laws. Housed within the Legal department, the Ethics and Compliance team ensures that IndiGos operations are compliant with internal policies, applicable regulations, and ethical standards.
Role Summary
The Manager Ethics & Compliance will be responsible for conducting investigations into alleged violations of the organization's Code of Conduct, policies, and applicable regulations. The role will focus on ensuring fair, consistent, and timely handling of complaint cases while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality. The manager will also support broader ethics and compliance initiatives to strengthen the culture of ethics across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations into reported violations of the Code of Conduct, company policies, or regulatory requirements.
- Conduct fact-finding, gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and prepare well-documented investigation reports with findings and recommendations.
- Ensure investigations are carried out impartially, objectively, and in line with internal protocols.
- Maintain accurate case records, databases, and metrics to support reporting and continuous improvement.
- Support awareness and training initiatives to reinforce ethical behavior and compliance culture.
- Assist in policy reviews and updates to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory changes.
- Always uphold strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information.
Qualifications and Skills
- MBA or CA with 6–8 years of experience in compliance, ethics, internal audit, or similar fields, with strong investigative experience. (professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CIA, CA, LLB, CFE) preferred).
- Excellent interviewing, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- High level of integrity, objectivity, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple investigations, and deliver results under timelines.
