We're Hiring – SQL Server Database Administrator (3 to 6 Years Experience)

Location: Pune

Immediate Joiners Preferred 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and manage SQL Server databases.
  • Handle multi-node cluster environments with Always On availability groups.
  • Perform database performance tuning:
  • Monitor database health and performance.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Optimize queries, indexes, and database configurations for efficient data access and processing.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and high availability solutions.
  • Ensure database security, compliance, and user access control.
  • Provide 24x7 production support on a rotational basis.

Mandatory Skills / Experience

  • 3–6 years of hands-on SQL Server database administration experience.
  • Strong expertise in Always On clustering and HA/DR solutions.
  • Experience in performance monitoring and tuning (using SQL Profiler, Extended Events, DMVs, etc.).
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies.
  • Good team-working skills, positive attitude, and ability to work independently when required.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts (24x7 rotational support).

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL / AWS RDS).
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting / automation.
  • Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS.
  • Experience with database migrations and upgrades.
  • Understanding of security best practices in SQL Server.
