Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for developing DevOps strategy and implementation for multiple products. Perform assessment to understand the current DevOps maturity, prepare a strategy and roadmap for transformation, evaluate and finalize the right toolsets for the engagement, implement DevOps automation. Enable Continuous Integration and automation of service Integration, delivery, and deployments using open source and commercial technologies at scale. Build & Set up test automation and pipeline frameworks in Kubernetes environments. Own, manage and improve release process with focus on scale and efficiency to on-premise and cloud environments. Build and maintain our cloud platforms and support applications, demonstrating agile and dynamic software support capabilities. Lead a high performing engineering team and coach/mentor to develop next-gen DevOps capabilities and assets. General skills Excellent Communication Skills (both verbal and written) Very good Analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Proactiveness Ability to dive in and learn complex systems Ability to react and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and conform to shifting priorities, timelines and project demands using an analytical and problem-solving approach Experience 5 to 8 years hands on Experience implementing Full lifecycle DevOps automation including Configuration management, Build Automation, Release management, Deployment automation and Infrastructure management. Good Knowledge on Containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Service, AKS Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Powershell, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps Experience with Continuous delivery solutions Scripting in shell, Python, Java script or Java and UNIX / Linux System administration Practical exposure on creating infrastructure on Azure cloud would be a plus In depth knowledge of UNIX/Linux: command-line utilities; familiarity with system administration tools and concepts Hands-on experience in Networking / network configuration, Application performance monitoring, Container performance and security
