Finance Associate

Experience - 2 to 8 years

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance associate to assist our finance manager with day-to-day financial procedures. You will be managing account records, revising and updating financial reports, and preparing financial data for audits, reviews, and taxation. To ensure success as a finance associate, you should possess in-depth knowledge of best practices in financial management and experience in a similar environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain petty cash accounts and log all outgoing disbursements
- understanding principles of accounting,finance and bookkeeping
- Monitor all vendor payment agreements to find discounts that can be used to reduce invoice amounts
- Responsible for paying all sales tax on appropriate invoices and making a note of each tax payment made
- Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payments
- Reconcile payable reports each month to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate
- Prepare analytical and ratio analysis in relation to A/R for management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing

**Requirements**:

- Proficient at Tally ERP Systems
- support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management and cost accounting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
- Excellent attention to detail and Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
- Strong organizational ability and Effective corporate communications skills
- Ability to keep company and partners confidential

Experience
- 0 to 2 Years

Education
- Should have an aggregate of 60% in the academics till date.
