We're now seeking an articulate and agile Assistant Manager – PR to strengthen our presence in media and public perception.

Role Summary As Assistant Manager – PR, you'll champion MakeO Toothsi's narrative across earned media channels. You'll work directly with leadership and creative teams to craft compelling stories, pitch newsworthy ideas, and build meaningful relationships with journalists, influencers, and digital communities. Your goal: raise awareness, strengthen credibility, and drive buzz.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR strategies for key campaigns, launches, and partnerships
    • Build and nurture media relationships across health, beauty, tech, and lifestyle beats
    • Manage press releases, media kits, and pitches for maximum pickup
    • Coordinate with agencies and external PR partners for strategic amplification
    • Monitor and report media coverage, sentiment analysis, and PR effectiveness
    • Manage crisis communication and reputation strategy alongside leadership
    • Support influencer alignment, press events, and experiential activations
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with growth, brand, and creative teams to align messaging
    • Craft compelling narratives that reflect the brand's voice and purpose

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, journalism, or marketing
    • 3–6 years of experience in PR roles within B2C or consumer tech businesses or in an agency managing such accounts.
    • Proven relationships with key media outlets and journalists
    • Strong writing, editing, and pitching skills
    • Experience in managing PR agencies and overseeing earned media strategy
    • Being a self-starter and own the charter to build a strong public image of the brand
    • Knowledge of social listening tools and media monitoring platforms
