Role
A strategic and detail-oriented Head – Compensation & Benefits to lead and manage the organization's global compensation, benefits, and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in compensation strategy, statutory compliance, and financial acumen, ensuring competitive and compliant reward systems across geographies.
Responsibilities
1. Compensation Strategy & Planning
- Design and implement competitive compensation structures aligned with business goals.
- Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure pay equity and competitiveness.
- Develop incentive and variable pay programs linked to performance metrics.
2. Benefits Administration
- Oversee employee benefits programs including health, retirement, wellness, and insurance.
- Evaluate and enhance benefits offerings based on employee needs and market trends.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across geographies.
- Liaise with legal and finance teams to maintain audit-ready documentation and processes.
4. Global Payroll Management
- Lead global payroll operations ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Collaborate with international teams and vendors to manage multi-country payroll complexities.
5. Financial Integration & Reporting
- Work closely with finance and accounting teams to align compensation budgets and forecasts.
- Provide detailed reports and analytics on compensation spend, ROI, and workforce cost trends.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with HR, finance, and leadership teams to align compensation strategies with talent and business objectives.
- Manage external consultants and vendors for specialized compensation and payroll services.
Skills & Qualification
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, with significant exposure to statutory compliance and global payroll.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Proven experience in designing and managing compensation frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and data analytics tools
