BASIC FUNCTION

Establish and maintain HSES management system including EMS 14001 and Operational Excellence. Be responsible for environmental protection, plant security, occupational health, operation /person safety and other safety aspects. Contact and communicate with local government and headquarters' HSES team regarding HSES issues, make sure of compliance with company policy and local legislation.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.    Enforce the Goal Zero Policy, establish full HSES system and put them into practice in the site, 
2.    Ensure timely regulatory and statutory submissions and approvals.
3.    Initiate Risk Assessment on facilities, equipment , working environment and human behaviors to identify safety hazards and ensure effective corrective actions are being followed
4.    Responsible for all types of industrial injury investigation and act to close actions, also share incidents and lessons learned from other sites with employees;
5.    Provide recommendations for HSES improvement project to management based on analysis of HSES metrics, investigation of accidents and near misses, and risk assessments etc.
6.    Maintain and implement OE standards of LYB and ISO 14001, provide preparations for group's OE audit
7.    Conduct Housekeeping and plant tour for HSES related aspects; Follow up all the findings and HSES actions
8.    Develop and implement HSES training programs and giving awareness 
9.    Responsible and manage the wastes disposal and environmental testing and follow up the report closely;
10.    Find out occupational issues and make corrective actions including PPE review, follow health check results and monitor occupational illness trend
11.    Develop and manage HSES plans, HSES targets, HSES gaps , HSES findings etc. and to be focal point of BBS, HSE committee, Emergency Plan, Crisis management;
12.    Ensure assessment of local contractors/vendors HSES systems, performance, supervisory development etc.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education:
1.    University in Science or Engineering.
2.    Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety and Health issued by the Directorate of Industries (Preferred)

Work Experience: 
year experiences in similar position in Automotive / chemical manufacturing or environment or industries with focus on safety consciousness . 

Licenses & Certifications:
1.    National Certified Safety Engineer
2.    Certified Internal Auditor – EMS 14001
