Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the factory canteen, including dining hall, kitchen, utensils, and washing area.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, tables, counters, storage racks, washbasins, and floors regularly.
  • Assist cook in basic food-preparation tasks like cutting, washing, peeling, and arranging raw materials.
  • Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per hygiene standards.
  • Maintain drinking water area and ensure continuous availability of glasses and water jars.
  • Support food serving during breakfast/lunch/snacks time and manage orderly queue.
  • Check daily stock of cleaning materials, serving items, and inform supervisor for refilling.
  • Follow factory safety rules, hygiene protocols, PPE usage, and canteen SOPs.
  • Report malfunctioning of kitchen appliances or facility issues to Admin/Maintenance team immediately.
  • Maintain discipline and coordinate with cook / canteen supervisor to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy cleaning work.
  • Experience in factory/industrial canteen preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain punctuality.

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
