Key Responsibilities

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high- quality, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform, with a primary focus on enhancing and maintaining the core Sales Cloud functionality to support the company's sales processes and product workflows.

• Development & Customization: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom programmatic solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce and JavaScript to meet complex business requirements within Sales Cloud.

• Configuration & Automation: Implement declarative automation tools like Salesforce Flow (Screen Flow, Record-Triggered Flow, Scheduled Flow), Process Builder, and Workflow Rules (as needed) to streamline sales and product-related business processes (e.g., Lead conversion, Opportunity management, Quote-to-Cash,etc.).

• Sales Cloud Expertise: Drive technical solutions for Sales Cloud modules including Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Products, Price Books, Quotes, and Sales Forecasting.
• Product Workflow Integration: Deeply understand the company's product lifecycle/workflow (from ideation/planning to sale/delivery) and ensure Sales Cloud configuration and custom development seamlessly supports these stages, especially in how sales and product data interact.

• Integration: Design and implement robust integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems (e.g., ERP, Finance, Marketing Automation, Product Catalog, or other proprietary systems) using REST/SOAP APIs and integration middleware.

• System Maintenance: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within the Salesforce platform, providing technical guidance for system maintenance, bug fixes, and continuous improvements.

• Best Practices: Enforce software development best practices, including version control (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket), code quality, testing (unit and integration), and deployment processes (CI/CD, Salesforce DX).

• Documentation & Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex businessrequirements into technical design specifications and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration.

• Platform Expertise: Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and its underlying data model, standard objects, and functional capabilities.

• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Apex programming, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.

• Automation Tools: Strong proficiency with Salesforce Flow (preferred over Process Builder/Workflow Rules).

• Integration Skills: Proven experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) for integrating Salesforce with other systems.

• Product Company Context: Demonstrated understanding of the workflows and business processes specific to a product-based company (e.g., product catalog management, quote-to-cash process involving multiple product SKUs/versions, managing subscription/renewal data).

• Certifications (Preferred): Active Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) is required. Platform Developer II (PD2) and/or Sales Cloud Consultant certification is highly desirable.

• General Tech Skills: Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and version control systems.

• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to design scalable and efficient solutions.

• Methodology: Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
