The position is with Well known Mutual Fund company and they are looking for Senior Manager - Compliance

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring all compliance policies and procedures of the organization comply with regulatory and ethical standards. Person should optimise existing processes and procedures and manage audit requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Accurate and timely reporting to regulators.
  • Interpretation and implementation of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Vetting all publicity material / advertisements / promotional write-ups to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines
  • Vetting of Legal agreements and monitoring timely execution / renewals thereof
  • Legal work relating to drafting/perusing of various agreements, documents, investor complaints, etc
  • Streamlining processes and documents as per requirements
  • Liaise with SEBI, AMFI & other regulators on legal and regulatory issues
  • Review the regulatory filings, disclosures and responses to regulatory queries or inspections.
  • Review the matters relating to fund operations, investor complaints, marketing and business initiatives
