NETWORK PLATFORM EXPERT

We are looking for a Network Platform Expert to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team, someone with deep expertise in network administration and architecture, effective communication skills, and the ability to resolve complex technical issues with proven experience in IT operations to join our team.

The Role:

As a Network Platform Expert, you will be instrumental in establishing a robust network environment at Nespresso. Your role will involve leveraging cutting-edge technology, including cloud-based networks and advanced firewalls, to enhance our network infrastructure. You will lead projects that define the strategic direction of our network, ensuring it aligns with Nespresso's business objectives and supports the seamless delivery of complex applications and services.

In This Role, You Will:

• Manage network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
• Lead initiatives to enhance network performance, reliability, and security, ensuring alignment with Nespresso's strategic goals.
• Oversee the deployment and management of firewalls and other security measures to protect Nespresso's digital assets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing expert guidance and support to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve Nespresso's network capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT network managers, product managers, and solution architects, to develop and execute network strategies.
• Support the implementation of Cloud-native Networking (mainly Microsoft Azure) components and resolve escalated network issues.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of experience in network administration and architecture.
• Proven experience in resolving technical issues, including those involving third parties.
• Experience in effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.
• Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies.

Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

• Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages to streamline network operations.
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing cloud networking services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated experience in leading network-related projects in a global or multi-site environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).
• Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
• Advanced certifications such as Cisco Certified Network or equivalent.
