Responsibilities/Duties: (in brief) (List the essential duties and responsibilities of the job.)
Administer the Network Technologies for the multi-site network.
Having hands-on expert level knowledge and experience on the enterprise network
technologies (Legacy as well as the new gen) in all phases of Deployment, Migration,
Maintenance and Support Cycles.
Primary Skill Set
Configuration and Deployment of Routers, Switches using Cisco, Juniper products.
Configuration and Administration of Wi-Fi Network and Devices
Configuration and Monitoring of WAN Links - Internet, Leased, MPLS and SDWAN Circuit
Configuration and Management of Firewall - Checkpoint, Palo Alto, SonicWall and others.
Network Services - DNS, DHCP, TACACS, SSO, Network Hardening
Log Management using Syslog-ng
Strong understanding of Network Topology and Network Configuration for High Density
Virtualization Stack
Strong knowledge on enterprise-wide networks
Administration of Load Balancers at the Network and Application Layers.
Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
Collaborate with Server, Storage and other Technology Teams on the issues and take
ownership on the issue resolution.
Migrate and Support - On-Prem, CoLo/Hosting and Cloud Environments.
Leased Internet Circuits, SDWAN, MPLS, P2P, IPLC and other connectivity and routing.
Desired:
Working experience in large enterprise IT environment
End-to-End Responsibility on the High Availability and Continuity of Services.
Documentation of the existing environment and all the changes.
Maintaining the Change History and Config.
