Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Sector 82 JLPL Road, Mohali for a Business Development Specialist (IT Sector). The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for conducting market research, generating leads, and communicating with potential and existing clients to drive business growth. The specialist will analyze market trends and data, support customer service initiatives, and develop strategies for expanding the company's client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and referrals
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their business needs and offer suitable solutions
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and respond to client inquiries effectively
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to successfully close deals
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through post-sales support and account management
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align strategies and improve client acquisition and retention

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1–2 years of proven experience in software or IT sales
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Ability to present and demonstrate software solutions effectively to clients
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and technology sales processes
  • Prior experience in B2B sales or SaaS product sales
  • Familiarity with digital sales strategies and tools
