Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Officer at Wasi Construction, located in Balianta. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety by implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments, and advising management on safety improvements. The role also includes investigating accidents, conducting safety training sessions, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills
  • Experience in Accident Investigation
  • Skills in Security management and Safety Training
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and training abilities
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with on-site teams
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications like OSHA or NEBOSH will be an advantage
