Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for: Mobile apps using Appium Web applications using Selenium WebDriver RESTful and SOAP APIs using PyTest with requests
  • Develop and execute automated test cases as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Write and maintain reusable PyTest-based test suites for service-level validation.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to define test coverage, quality goals, and release readiness.
  • Troubleshoot test failures, perform root cause analysis, and log clear and actionable bugs.
  • Set up and enhance test reporting dashboards, test data management, and environment strategies.
  • Contribute to building a test automation strategy and roadmap.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA/SDET team members.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software test automation.
  • Proficient in Python, with solid experience using PyTest for automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience in: Appium for Android and iOS testing Selenium WebDriver for browser automation API testing using PyTest + requests, JSON validation, and schema checks
  • Good understanding of REST principles, HTTP status codes, and API authentication (OAuth, tokens).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of Git, version control practices, and branching strategies.
  • Working knowledge of test reporting tools (Allure, HTML reports, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar API tools.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Dockerized testing, Django, microservices,
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like Locust or JMeter
  • Hands-on with mocking/stubbing frameworks or tools like WireMock / MockServer
  • Integration with cloud-based device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab)
  • Exposure to test case management tools (e.g., Zephyr)
  • Experience with PlayWright
