Our team is dedicated to building software that supports the future of the insurance industry, and we are looking for individuals who share our passion and vision.We are looking for a self-motivated SDET to work in a highly collaborative environment and ensure that Guidewire is always shipping quality products.Job Description*What you get to do*Design and develop portfolio test automation of end to end customer scenariosDesign and build automation framework and toolsBuild dashboards to track product qualityHands-on automation > 90% of the timeTest and automate micro-services and analytics SaaS solutionsDrive testing and automation for Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) of servicesDevelop Test strategy for scalability, availability, and data security of servicesDevelop and leverage AI agents for comprehensive testing and analysisAt Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI—empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.*What we like you to have*Minimum 5+ years of required work experienceAn analytical mindset and a strong bias toward automationGood programming skills in Java, python, JavaScript or any scripting languageFamiliar with serialization frameworks like Avro, Parquet etcUnderstanding of testing distributed systems concepts (consistency and availability, liveness and safety, durability, reliability, fault-tolerance, consensus algorithms)Expertise in REST API testing and automation using Karate, Cucumber is preferredUI testing and automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, TestCafe, Playwright)Comfortable working with Kubernetes, DockerUnderstanding of GenAI and practical experience in developing AI agents are considered advantageousEager to learn new things and passionate about technologyDemonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.About GuidewireGuidewire is the platform P&C insurers trust to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently.
