Lead Planner

Lead Planner (PSS & Infra) Formulation of Strategic Project Plans: > Formulate and develop strategic project plans that incorporate goals, objectives, to guide project execution. > Prepare comprehensive planning documents detailing key deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones, ensuring alignment with overall project strategy and organizational objectives. Assist in the preparation of Project Macro Schedules within 30 days from management approval, considering resource and material requirements. Management of Project Schedules: > Continuously monitor and evaluate project progress, integrating timely schedule adjustments to reflect changes in project scope, resource availability, or unforeseen delays. > Review and Analysis of S-Curves on a regular basis and highlight deviations from the baseline plan for the escalation management. Management of Planning Resources: > Manage and optimize planning resources, including personnel, software tools, and data, to support the effective execution of planning activities. > Ensure that all planning tools are utilized efficiently, addressing any gaps or inefficiencies to enhance productivity, oversee reporting, preparing project control and portfolio reports, and managing the MIS review and release as required. Development and Implementation of Planning Procedures: > Develop, establish, and implement standardized planning procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness in project planning activities. > Promote best practices in project management to enhance efficiency and minimize delays, supporting business excellence and digital transformation initiatives. > Establish a robust documentation process for the timely retrievability of project-related documents. > Implement resource leveling technique to proactively address conflict or shortage, ensuring optimal utilization of resource and adopting to evoling project demands and shifting priorities. Analysis and Optimization of Project Plans: > Conduct comprehensive analysis of project plans to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement using advanced planning techniques. > Make data-driven adjustments to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of project plans. > Prepare reports on project progress and deviations from the baseline plan, keeping management and stakeholders apprised of any issues. Coordination with Project Stakeholders: > Coordinate and engage with project stakeholders to gather input and feedback, ensuring all perspectives are considered in the planning process. > Facilitate seamless communication between planning teams and stakeholders to expedite deliverables and support successful project execution. > Attend review meetings, follow up on critical action points, and ensure stakeholder engagement in alignment with project goals. Educational Qualification: > BE / B Tech with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred > Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is value added. > Strong academic foundation in project management, cost control, and financial analysis. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Work Experience: > 5-7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector. > Proven track record in developing and implementing project plans, managing project timelines, and optimizing resource allocation.
