Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large-scale big data solutions using Scala and Spark.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software products.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to big data processing pipelines and provide timely resolutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in big data technologies.

Job Requirements :

  • 3-8 years of experience in developing big data applications using Scala or similar languages.
  • Strong understanding of Spark programming model, including RDDs, Dataframes, Datasets, etc.
  • Experience working on Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN) is required; knowledge of other distributed computing frameworks like AWS EMR or Azure Databricks is a plus.
