Position: Data Engineer Developer

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Salary: ₹2,00,000 – ₹3,00,000 per month

Location: Nagpur

Qualification : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer Developer with strong expertise in data engineering, pipeline development, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data solutions while working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
  • Work with Apache Spark / PySpark to process large-scale datasets efficiently.
  • Implement and manage data solutions using AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, etc.).
  • Develop real-time and batch data pipelines using Kafka and other messaging systems.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Perform data analysis, data modeling, and schema design using tools like ERwin/BPwin.
  • Manage databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Sybase, ensuring optimized performance.
  • Ensure smooth integration and version control using GitHub / BitBucket and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Write optimized SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
  • Conduct unit testing and ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of proven experience in data engineering and development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / PySpark.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services (Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift).
  • Knowledge of data modeling tools (ERwin/BPwin).
  • Experience with pipeline execution, ETL processes, and data integration frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Kafka for real-time data streaming.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, BitBucket, Jenkins for version control and CI/CD.
  • Strong database skills in Oracle, PostgreSQL, Sybase.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
