Assistant Manager –Operations

We need a strategic operations leader to drive our transformation projects. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you'll own multiple cross-functional initiatives including AI integration, operational excellence, and business expansion. This isn't traditional project management—it's strategic transformation with execution accountability.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Transformation Initiative Ownership: Lead AI integration across divisions, lean operations implementation, and new business model rollouts
  • Strategic Design & Innovation :Partner with Chief of Staff and founders to design future-state operating models and capabilities
  • Cross-functional Execution :Drive alignment and execution across 10+ divisions, removing blockers and ensuring velocity
  • Change Management :Build adoption and capability within divisions for new processes and technologies

Success Metrics (90-day targets)

  • Launch AI pilots in 3+ divisions with measurable ROI
  • Complete lean assessment for all divisions with improvement roadmap
  • Reduce cross-functional project cycle time by 40%
  • Achieve 80% on-time delivery for transformation initiatives
  • Build transformation playbook for scaling initiatives

Key Deliverables

  • Map all ongoing transformation initiatives and dependencies
  • Launch quick-win lean improvements in 2 divisions
  • Design and pilot AI integration framework
  • Scale successful pilots across organization

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in transformation/consulting/strategic operations roles
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide transformation
  • Experience with AI/ML implementation in operations
  • Strong executive stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting background
  • Fashion/retail transformation experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with 1000+ employee organizations
  • Startup mindset in large company context

Working Style

  • Weekly brainstorming sessions with Chief of Staff and founders
  • Daily standup with transformation leads across divisions
  • Operates with founder-level urgency and strategic thinking
  • Comfortable challenging status quo and driving change

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600, ₹1,500,000.00 per year
