Job Overview

A franchise critical metrics and controls application is looking for a Senior Data Visualization lead with extensive data skills. This role will be responsible for the enterprise impacting insights and metrics. ROCK- controls Command center is one of the delivery channels and component of Olympus data fabric that provides a "one stop" centralized platform for all SMC Data Controls, specific Business Controls and SMC Application Estate System Controls. This is an opportunity to work in a fast paced forward looking technology organization

Experience required:

  • 12+ years of experience in data visualization development and as an architect
  • Establish data visualization standards and explore new, cutting-edge tools to periodically raise those standards.
  • Data Visualization - Candidate must understand the value proposition of visualizing data
  • Project Management - Candidate must be able to scope projects, evaluate project plans for feasibility, and monitor progress against the plan
  • Communication and Influencing - Candidate must possess excellent listening skills and be able to distill and concisely articulate key messages in verbal and written form
  • Experience with Data Visualization libraries/tools like , , Highcharts, and more generally, SVG, HTML5 Canvas, WebGL
  • Strong background in building interactive, user-friendly, visualizations displaying large, complex data sets using JavaScript )
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks, Backbone, Angular, Ember
  • Experience with SQL, ETL, data warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts required;
  • Experience working as part of software development teams would be beneficial.
  • Domain knowledge of Capital Markets, Trading lifecycle, would be important to have
  • Working experience with of NLP and ML models is a must
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills - strong oral, written communication, and presentations skills
  • Demonstrable proficiency with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, Spotfile, ) or Data Visualization libraries
  • Experience in developing product which hosts metrics, workflows, rules configuration etc
