We are looking for a Data Visualization Specialist (IBM Cognos Analytics) with 5+ years of BI/reporting experience. The role involves designing impactful dashboards, reports, and data models using Cognos and SQL. Candidates must have client-facing/onsite experience with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Requirement :

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in IBM Cognos, with proven ability to interact with clients/stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful insights. Prior onsite or client-handling experience is essential for this role.

We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization Specialist (IBM Cognos Analytics) to design, develop, and deliver impactful dashboards and reports that enable business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. The specialist will be responsible for leveraging IBM Cognos Analytics along with other BI and visualization tools to transform complex data into intuitive, interactive, and actionable insights.

Role Responsibility :

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations in IBM Cognos Analytics.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into effective BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across all reports and dashboards.
  • Optimize Cognos reports and queries for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Establish best practices and standards for dashboard design, visualization, and reporting.
  • Continuously monitor BI solutions to identify opportunities for enhancements, automation, and innovation.

Role Requirement :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI/reporting development, with a strong focus on IBM Cognos Analytics.
  • Proven expertise in Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, and Dashboarding.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Knowledge in data modeling, ETL concepts, and data warehouse environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in visualization design.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
