Assistant Manager

What will you drive?
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Monitor day-to-day accounting operations, including revenue recognition, expense booking, and reconciliations
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors during audits and support in closure of audit findings
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process and ensure adherence to timelines
- Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs for financial processes
- Liaise with business and compliance teams to ensure proper documentation and financial governance
- Handle regulatory reporting requirements specific to NBFCs (e.g., RBI returns, statutory submissions)
- Support in tax audits, GST filings, TDS compliance, and other financial statutory obligations
- Identify automation opportunities and assist in implementation of financial tools or ERP enhancements
- Assist senior leadership with financial insights, dashboards, and ad-hoc reports
Who are we looking for?
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 3 years of experience in controllership, accounting, or financial reporting in an NBFC or BFSI setup
- Strong understanding of IND AS / Indian GAAP and financial compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in financial tools, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and Excel
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
