Job Responsibilities

Management Trainee

The Management Trainee (MT) role is designed to groom high-potential candidates for future leadership positions by providing exposure across different departments in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company. Candidates must have an MBA with a pharmaceutical background to effectively contribute to the specialized needs of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain exposure across Manufacturing, QA/QC, RA, Business Development, Finance, and HR through structured rotations.
  • Assist in execution of projects such as new product development, process optimization, and compliance.
  • Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and trend analysis for management review.
  • Support QA/RA teams during audits, regulatory filings, and documentation review.
  • Assist in cost analysis, market research, and operational decision-making support.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving ability and initiative during assignments to prepare for leadership roles.
  • Manage the calendar, appointments, plant visits, and meetings of senior management.
  • Draft, review, and manage correspondence (emails, reports, memos) on behalf of management.
  • Handle sensitive documents and information with confidentiality.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes of meetings, and ensure follow-up on action points.
  • Liaise with internal teams, regulators, auditors, vendors, and external partners.
