Job Title: Academic Counselor

Location: Calicut

Mode: Work from home

The Academic Counselor supports students in achieving their academic goals by providing guidance on course selection, degree requirements, and academic strategies. This role involves working closely with students to help them navigate academic challenges, develop educational plans, and ensure they are on track for graduation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise students on course selection, academic requirements, and program pathways.
  • Assist students in identifying academic strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Support students on academic probation, helping them create plans to improve performance.
  • Monitor student progress toward degree completion and provide guidance for timely graduation.
  • Collaborate with faculty and other staff to ensure students receive comprehensive academic support.
  • Provide individual counseling to address personal and academic challenges affecting student success.
  • Organize and lead workshops on study skills, time management, and academic strategies.
  • Stay informed about institutional policies, academic programs, and resources available to students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in academic advising or student support services.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations and handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
