Mechanical Design Engineer
to support our product development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical parts, enclosures, and assemblies for imaging and optical systems.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using
AutoCAD
and
Creo
. - Work under the guidance of senior engineers to support design projects from concept to production.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback.
- Conduct basic tolerance analysis and assist in material selection.
- Support prototype development and testing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of designs, iterations, and changes.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with
AutoCAD
and
Creo (Parametric)
. - Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering drawing standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, sheet metal, and plastics.
- Good problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
- Exposure to imaging systems or electronics enclosures is an added advantage.
