Overview of an organization:

Indo- Maize & Millets Development Association (IMMDA) is the one of the commodity stewardship councils of India. It is registered as a non-profit organization under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. IMMDA is formed with the support of Government of Maharashtra (GoM) and the World Bank under the 'Hon. Balasaheb Thackeray Agri-Business & Rural Transformation (SMART) Project. The council aims to create a common platform for all the Maize & Millets stakeholders and strengthen the Maize & Millets value chain. IMMDA was officially established on the June 12, 2024.

Experience and Educational requirements:

A candidate should be from graduate from agriculture or allied fields having post-graduation in the MBA- Marketing/ Agribusiness. He/She should be fluent in English, Marathi and Hindi. He/she should have 3 to 5 years of experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

·      To plan and implement all the activities of the IMMDA along with performance goals for each year

·      To handle all the administrative and operational aspects of running the IMMDA

·      To formulate and implement services, activities and other targets for IMMDA based on meetings of board of directors and shareholders

·      To establish key performance indicators for all the staff members

·      To handle the Profit and Loss account for IMMDA

·      To ensure compliances of IMMDA

·      To generate and increase revenue through services

·      To raise awareness of IMMDA as an organization

·      To act as a single point contact for government agencies and all value chain stakeholders

·      To formulate marketing strategies, run promotional campaigns, ensure resource efficient marketing strategy, promote IMMDA and its activities and formulate new ways of promoting IMMDA and its membership

·      To be creative in presenting IMMDA as a new age concept

·      To oversee all the practical issues in implementing IMMDA activities

·      To travel extensively to raise awareness about IMMDA

·      To act as an on-ground liaison

Type of appointment:
Contract basis and renewable after one year based on performance
