Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned area.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share.
- Recruit, train, and motivate sales representatives to achieve team goals.
- Monitor daily sales performance and ensure timely reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and share periodic sales performance reports with management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in sales or business development (FMCG / Telecom / IT / Pharma / etc.).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
