Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a US Accounting and Tax Associate, located in Noida. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
US Accounting & Taxation Associate
to manage day-to-day accounting functions and support tax compliance and reporting for our US operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US GAAP, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and basic US taxation, including federal and state filings.

Responsibilities

Accounting

  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure books are closed on time.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliations, AR/AP, and expense tracking.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Assist with budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and controls.
  • Work with external auditors as required.

Taxation

  • Assist with the preparation and filing of
    US state sales tax
    .
  • Support in gathering and analyzing tax-related data for compliance and audits.
  • Maintain documentation for tax filings.
  • Prepare, review, and file US Federal and State tax returns, including Form 1065 (Partnerships) and Form 1120S.
  • Manage US Sales Tax compliance – calculate, file, and remit sales tax across multiple states.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of FUTA (Federal Unemployment Tax), SUTA (State Unemployment Tax), and FICA (Social Security & Medicare taxes)- preferred not mandatory

Qualifications

  • Possess skills in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and understanding of Tax and Tax Law
  • Knowledge and experience in Finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.
