Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information System, Business, and other closely related degrees preferred.
  • 5+ years of Business Intelligence experience.
  • Birst, Tableau, or at least one major BI product preferred.
  • Experience with at least one programming language or query language.
  • SQL experience required.
  • Python experience required.
  • Experience with Data modeling tools a plus.
  • Ability to synthesize disparate and complex sources of information and create value-added insight and perspective.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to effectively interact, and collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • The role of Manager, Business Intelligence is responsible in overseeing the end to end delivery of BI solutions.
  • Working closely with IT to understand the underlying data models, which includes understanding the relationships between key tables, attributes, measures, and logical definitions.
  • Responsible for the data movements among data sources, which include numerous internal databases as well as 3rd parties data sources, to and from BI ecosystems.
  • Liaising with the onshore BI team and the Analytics teams to understand business requirements, in order to identify and to recommend the best solution to the end users.
  • Working within BI tools, creating the data architecture and business logics to support reporting, as well as documenting business logics implemented.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Analyze user requirements and design functional specifications for BI applications.
  • Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs.
  • Develop the semantic layer of business intelligence, metadata, reports, and report definitions.
  • Troubleshoot BI reports and dashboards; performance-tune as necessary.
