At Digital Orix, we don't just market brands—we tell stories that connect with people. With our upcoming podcast series and growing creative projects, we are looking for a talented and passionate Director of Photography (DOP) to lead the visual storytelling side of our productions.
Role Overview:
The DOP will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing the visual style of our podcasts, interviews, campaigns, and brand films. This role requires strong technical expertise in lighting, camera handling, and framing along with a creative eye to ensure our content stands out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to design the visual look and feel of podcasts, reels, brand campaigns, and promotional videos.
- Handle camera setup, framing, composition, and lighting for high-quality video production.
- Work closely with the podcast host and guests to ensure professional on-screen presence and smooth recording sessions.
- Select and manage camera equipment, lenses, lighting gear, and other production tools.
- Supervise the shooting crew (if any) and coordinate schedules for efficient workflow.
- Ensure all footage is visually consistent, crisp, and aligns with brand aesthetics.
- Stay updated with the latest camera trends, gears, and production techniques.
- Collaborate with the editing team to ensure the final output matches the envisioned direction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DOP, cinematographer, or videographer (portfolio/reel required).
- Strong knowledge of camera operations, lighting setups, and sound basics.
- Proficiency with professional cameras (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, etc.) and lighting kits.
- Experience in shooting podcasts, interviews, or branded video content is a big plus.
- Ability to work under deadlines and bring creative solutions on set.
- Excellent eye for detail, composition, and storytelling.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of relevant experience in production/videography.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve).
