Role Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced
Real Estate Legal Advisor/Counsel
to handle all legal matters pertaining to real estate transactions, land acquisition, redevelopment, and property compliance in Mumbai and Maharashtra.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience (or more, depending on complexity) in:
  • Real Estate and Property Law.
  • Drafting and Vetting: Sales Deeds, Development Agreement (Joint Ventures, JDA), MOUs, NDAs, Lease Deeds.
  • RERA compliance: Registrations, project updates, agreement formats as per RERA norms.
  • Title due diligence and land record verification.
  • Litigation exposure in property disputers, if relevant.

Qualifications

  • LLB -
    mandatory,
    LL.M -
    preferably in Property Law/Real Estate Law/Business Law (optional but desirable).
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of Maharashtra RERA (MahaRERA) rules and processes.
  • Familiarity with Companies Act, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act and Registration Act.
  • Ability to liaise with Chartered Accountants and Architects for compliance related matters
  • Experience in handling joint development/redevelopment projects.
