Junior Legal Advisor

**About the Role**

As a Legal Professional in Real Estate, you will provide expert legal advice, handle legal documents, and represent the company in court. Your role includes ensuring compliance with real estate laws, particularly RERA, and guiding the company through legal issues related to property, tenancy, and redevelopment. You will play a key role in mitigating legal risks and safeguarding the company's legal interests.

**Responsibilities**
- Providing Legal Opinion on various Legal Matters relating to Property and Real Estate Business
- Excellent in Drafting of all types of Legal documents pertaining to Legal Matters relating to Property and Real Estate Business
- Knowledge of Court procedure, filing, handling matters for the Company.
- To handle all issues pertaining to Tenancy, Redevelopment, Evictions, etc. and guide the Company with appropriate legal procedure to be adopted for resolving them.
- To vet and prepare the Documents for the Properties, Redevelopment Schemes, etc. in which the Company is dealing with, basically involve in vetting and drafting the Documents for the Company such as Leave & License Agreement, Lease Deed, Individual Tenant Agreement, Development Agreement, Conveyance Necessary Legal Complaints, Legal Notices.
- Responding to Legal Notices, Indemnity Bonds and such other legal documents as and when required by and for the Company.
- Drafting Petition/Writ of Summons, Vakalatnama, Written Statement, Chamber Summons, Notice of Motion, and Summons for Judgments, Reply to Summons for Judgment, Sir Rejoinder, Sir Sir Rejoinder, Affidavit of Examination in Chief, Compilation of documents, Adjournments Application, Exemption.
- Must be abreast of relevant developments in real estate including the D.C Regulations.
- To brief the Advocates/Solicitors for Court Litigations, on behalf of the Company.
- Experience in handling all matters pertaining to Legal Compliance, Issues and consulting the Company for the same.
- Update review & communicate new laws/regulations and provide guidance regarding applicability/impact on the Business/ongoing matters
- Represent and follow up cases in various Courts.
- To take care of day to day matters going on in different Courts.
- Monitoring and handling litigation under various laws.
- Very good in planning & Execution of legal strategies. Protective identification of legal risk in conducts business and provides a solution.

**Qualifications and Work Experience**
- Educational Qualifications - LLB/LLM
- Having 5+ years experience with at least 3 years with a reputed Real Estate Developer or a reputed Law Firm.
- Post qualification hands on experience; should have thorough knowledge of corporate laws and Real Estate related Laws such as Land laws
- An extensively trained and thorough legal professional with experience in all aspects of non-litigation and litigation from preparation of Petitions, briefs to arguments before the various Courts and Tribunals throughout in Mumbai as well as NCLT Court, Consumer Court, Co-Operative Court, ORT and DRAT.
- Should have thorough knowledge and extensive experience in RERA related matters and advising the Company/Clients in every step of their ventures, as well as drafting and issuing Legal Opinions on various legal issues.

**Experience**:

- Real estate law: 3 years (preferred)
