About the Role:

We are looking for a Finance & Data Analyst who will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting the finance team with accurate analysis for decision-making. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting foundation, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, interpret, and manage financial and operational data to support business decisions.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain accounting entries, ledgers, vouchers, and related financial records.
  • Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and financial analysis using advanced Excel.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
  • Work with VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other Excel functions to handle large datasets.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records.
  • Collaborate with different departments to provide data-driven insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant, Financial Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Cleaning).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers.
  • Strong reasoning and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with ERP software (Tally, SAP, or similar).
  • Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of GST, TDS, and other taxation basics.
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines.
