About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Support Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and operational expertise across cloud platforms, infrastructure components, and server operating systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of enterprise cloud environments by troubleshooting complex issues and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization layers.
  • Diagnose and remediate server operating system problems on both Windows and Linux platforms in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Monitor cloud and infrastructure health proactively, responding to alerts and incidents in adherence to SLAs.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and engineering teams to escalate and resolve critical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates to streamline operational workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, incident reports, and knowledge base articles for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
  • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, infrastructure trends, and operating system updates to continuously improve support capabilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 to 3+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure support, systems administration, or technical support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong expertise in troubleshooting physical and virtual infrastructure components.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues on Windows and Linux server operating systems.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles including IAM, firewall management, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud certifications such as Azure Administrator (AZ-104), AWS SysOps Administrator, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and tools.
