MS - Run Location: Mumbai / Bangalore Job Description: Multi-Cloud Azure Oracle DB PaaS Service Lead Overview: The Multi-Cloud Azure and Oracle DB PaaS Service Lead will be responsible for managing and leading Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings across Azure and Oracle Cloud environments.

This role will focus on designing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing database services for multiple clients.

The Service Lead will provide guidance, ensure security compliance, manage performance, and oversee system updates, while maintaining alignment with client and industry best practices.

Responsibilities: 1.Lead Multi-Cloud PaaS Database Management: oOversee the management of Azure and Oracle Cloud PaaS database environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. oProvide leadership and technical expertise in managing, configuring, and optimizing multi-cloud database services. 2.Database Architecture Design:

oDesign and implement cloud-native database solutions in both Azure and Oracle PaaS environments.

oCollaborate with clients to understand business requirements and develop tailored database architectures to meet their needs. 3.Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

oRegularly monitor and analyze database performance, identifying bottlenecks and recommending optimizations.

oImplement proactive performance tuning measures to ensure high availability and efficiency of database services.

4.Security and Compliance Management: oEnsure that databases meet security policies and compliance requirements, applying best practices in data privacy and encryption.

oPerform security updates and patch management to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

5.Cloud-Native Tools and Automation: oImplement cloud-native management tools for monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery in Azure and Oracle Cloud environments. oAutomate database management tasks, including backup and recovery, patching, and performance monitoring.

6.Incident and Problem Management: oLead the resolution of incidents, problems, and performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on client operations. oProvide root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

7.Database Backup and Recovery: oDevelop and implement backup and recovery strategies for PaaS databases across Azure and Oracle environments.

oEnsure data integrity and rapid recovery of databases in the event of system failure or corruption.

8.PaaS Service Configuration: oConfigure PaaS services in Azure and Oracle Cloud environments, ensuring compliance with client and cloud provider standards. oRegularly review and update configurations to align with evolving business needs and technological advancements.

9.Client Communication and Reporting: oServe as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on database performance, incidents, and service improvements. oGenerate regular reports on system performance, usage, and incidents, and present recommendations for future enhancements.

10.Collaboration with Infrastructure and Development Teams: Work closely with the infrastructure and application development teams to ensure seamless integration of PaaS databases with client applications. Provide technical guidance and support during application deployments and updates.

11.Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud database management. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, including the adoption of automation, cloud cost optimization, and operational efficiency enhancements.

12.Project Management and Leadership: Manage multiple database projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Lead and mentor a team of database administrators and cloud engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications: Proven experience managing and optimizing databases in Azure and Oracle Cloud environments.

Expertise in PaaS database services, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. Strong understanding of multi-cloud architecture and cloud-native tools.

Experience with automation tools for cloud management.

Excellent communication and client management skills.

Experience with cloud database security, compliance, and data privacy practices.

Key Skills: Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud Database, and PaaS technologies. Database monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management.
