Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented interior design draftsperson to join our design studio, which specialises in bespoke residential interiors. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AutoCAD, a keen eye for interior architectural detailing, and the ability to translate design concepts into precise technical drawings. You will collaborate closely with the design team to deliver high-quality construction documentation, assist with presentation materials, and coordinate with vendors and site teams when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce detailed drawings for:

• Flooring layouts and inlays

• Wall panelling, mouldings, and joinery

• Ceilings (including modern and classical details)

• Custom furniture and built-ins

• Finishes and material transitions

• Translate design concepts into clear, accurate working drawings for site and vendor use

• Assist in preparing mood boards, presentation decks, and visual aids

• Conduct site visits and liaise with contractors or vendors to clarify drawings and resolve issues when required

• Revise drawings as per site feedback or evolving design intent

Qualifications & Skills:


• years of experience in interior or architectural drafting

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, including:

• Layer management

• Sheet setup and print formatting

• Scaled and annotated drawing sets

• Working knowledge of Canva and PowerPoint preferred but not essential

• Solid understanding of interior construction, materials, and bespoke detailing. 

• Ability to work neatly, systematically, and with a high degree of accuracy

Education:

• Diploma or degree in design or drafting in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

• Strong practical experience in lieu of formal education will also be considered
