SEO, Content, Backlink and Online Presence Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a fast, reliable and execution-focused intern who will work on the following responsibilities:

• Wiscripts Website SEO and on-page improvements
• Backlink building, directory submissions, outreach and guest posts
• Long-form SEO blog writing
• LinkedIn Company Page content
• Instagram content, copy only

You will not design graphics. A design intern handles all visual work. Your role is focused on content, SEO, outreach, publishing and consistent execution.

Only students or recent graduates from UGC-accredited Mumbai colleges in the following fields are eligible.

• Bachelor level programs in Media, Communication or Advertising under Mumbai University

MBA students, engineering students, English Literature students, students from non-UGC institutes such as Pearl Academy, Whistling Woods or MET, and candidates outside Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities
1. Wiscripts Website SEO and Content Publishing

• Improve on-page SEO, including headers, alt tags, meta descriptions, URLs and internal links
• Upload and format blogs on WordPress
• Maintain weekly SEO logs and basic tracking

2. Long-Form Blog Writing

• Write 2 SEO-focused blogs per week, 1,200 to 1,800 words
• Perform keyword research
• Ensure clean structure, internal linking and clear readability
• Convert each blog into a LinkedIn newsletter draft

3. Backlink Building, Outreach and Guest Posts
A. Directory Submissions

• Research suitable high-authority directories
• Record submission requirements
• Prepare accurate listing information

B. Guest Post Outreach

• Send 20 to 30 outreach emails per week
• Personalize each pitch
• Maintain a clean outreach tracker

C. Guest Post Writing

When external websites accept your pitch, you will produce:

• 5 to 8 guest posts per month
• Each article between 1,000 and 1500 words
• Educational, original and non-promotional content

D. Backlink Tracking

• Maintain a backlink tracker
• Record links, dates, statuses and updates

4. LinkedIn Company Page

• Write 3 posts per week, text only
• Convert blog insights into structured LinkedIn content
• Prepare summaries, insights and educational formats

5. Instagram Content, Copy Only

You will prepare:

• 3 post captions per week
• 1 carousel copy per week, slide by slide, with a CTA on the final slide
• 2 reel scripts per week

You will also identify a suitable Canva template.

The design intern will complete the final visuals.

Task 2: Blog Writing Sample

Write a 1,000 to 1,500 word blog on the topic:
"Why Most Law Firm Websites Do Not Convert in 2025"

Task 3: LinkedIn & Instagram Content Samples

Submit all three items together:

• One LinkedIn post, text only
• One Instagram carousel copy
• Select a Canva PPT or Carousel Template
• Customize and write a copy each of the 5 to 7 slides
• Last slide of the carousel must be a CTA
• One Instagram reel script, 30 to 60 seconds video

Submit everything in one email, clearly labeled.

Shortlisting will be based on speed, clarity and quality of work.
