Role Title VP– Design & Engineering Job Location Worli, CTC Range- 35-40lpaKey Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

• Analyse tender specifications and prepare detailed designs and drawings that align with client requirements.
• Calculate the Bill of Materials (BOM) and quantities for Balance of System (BOS) components to support the bidding team.
• Create final designs, drawings, and BOM upon order confirmation, ensuring submission for client approval and installation readiness.
• Collaborate with the client's site execution team and subcontractors to resolve design-related issues during the Installation and Commissioning (I&C) phase.
• Optimize designs for performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Role Demands (Travel) As and when required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Experience, Certification, Exposure
• BE with 10-12 years

Or Diploma with 15-20 Years of experience in the design and Engineering of Solar PV Projects, including Roof Top, Ground Mounted, and Carport Solar PV systems.

• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, and MS Office.
• Strong communication & Coordination skills with clients, site teams, inter department and other stakeholders to meet -achieve design parameters with applicable standards and norms for the assigned Project.
• Hands-on experience and exposure 7-10 years in designing GT Rooftop Solar PV Projects at least 1000 KWp or above capacity with various kinds of roofs like inclined sheet metal-Flat Cement concrete.

• Hands-on experience and exposure 5-7 years in designing of GT Ground Mounted or SAT Solar PV Projects at least 1000 KWp or above capacity.
• Well Conversant with Electrical Engineering terminology and design aspects to create SLD-Schematic and Interconnection schemes.
• Well conversant and familiar with Transformer-Cables and other desired electrical Switch gear sizing desired and mandatory for Solar Plant designing.
• Well conversant and familiar with selection of SPV Module-Solar Inverter and Solar connectors to suit the required design standards of Solar System.
• Proficiency and familiar with creation of detailed Solar Project BOM with suitable technical Specification as per applicable standard and norms of Solar PV System.
• Preferred Skills:
• Expertise in optimizing designs to meet client requirements and Project demands.
• Ability to address and demonstrate technical challenges with suitable solutions during Project execution.
• Ability to understand Electrical drawings and documents of OEM supplies to suit and match with required SPV design requirements.
• Ability to Communicate with Client-Consultants-EPC & INC teams and all other applicable agencies involved with the SPV Projects.
• Ability to understand and evaluate Technical Proposals-OEM Drawings-Equipment Specifications etc. to suit with actual demand of the SPV Projects.
• Ability to lead and guide a team of design Engineers to get effective in time deliveries of required drawings and Project specific documents.
• Ability to establish effective coordination among Site-Consultant Design team-SCM-BD -Execution team for timely delivery of drawing-Documents-Supplies-Information to achieve smooth execution flow at Project site.
• Capable to update higher management in a defined periodic frame in respect to Solar PV Projects.
