Role Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic SEO Associate to join our digital marketing team. The role involves assisting in planning, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic growth. This position is ideal for someone who is starting their career in SEO and wants hands-on exposure across multiple industries and websites.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Page SEO

Assist in keyword research, mapping, and optimization.

Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and content for SEO best practices.

Support in content optimization for landing pages, blogs, and product/collection pages.

Conduct SEO audits and suggest on-page improvements.

Technical SEO

Assist in website analysis for crawlability, indexation, site speed, and Core Web Vitals.

Support in monitoring XML sitemaps, , schema markup, and canonical tags.

Coordinate with developers/designers to suggest technical SEO improvements.

Off-Page SEO (Non-Link Building)

Monitor brand mentions, citations, and competitor backlinks for insights.

Research opportunities for content visibility without direct link-building activities.

Tracking & Reporting

Monitor organic performance using Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).

Generate weekly and monthly performance reports with key insights.

Learning & Collaboration

Stay updated with SEO algorithm changes, AI/answer engine updates, and best practices.

Work closely with team members to align SEO strategies with client goals.

Requirements:

Experience: 0 – 2 years in SEO (internships or projects will be considered).

Basic understanding of on-page, technical, and content SEO.

Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog (preferred but not mandatory).

Strong interest in search optimization, analytics, and website performance.

Good communication and analytical skills.

Eagerness to learn and grow in SEO.

Good to Have (Not Mandatory):

Prior internship/project experience in SEO.

Knowledge of schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and answer engine optimization (AEO/GEO).

Exposure to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or other CMS platforms.
