Role Overview

The Brand Communications Manager is responsible for day-to-day execution of techtrons brand communications, press activity, and editorial presence.

This role suits a strong, hands-on communicator who understands technology storytelling, can produce high-quality press content, and manage relationships with media and PR partners under strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Editorial Execution

  • Deliver press releases, editorial pitches, and brand stories aligned with techtrons positioning
  • Maintain consistency of brand voice across all external communications
  • Support product and brand launch communications

Press & Media Coordination

  • Maintain relationships with technology and industry publications
  • Distribute press releases and manage media responses
  • Support interviews, briefings, and press requests

Product Launch Support

  • Assist in preparing launch materials:

  • Press releases

  • Media kits

  • Messaging documents

  • Coordinate timelines and follow-ups post-launch

Content & Editorial Production

  • Draft and edit:

  • Editorial articles

  • Thought leadership pieces

  • Industry features

  • Work closely with design and digital teams for editorial-quality output

Agency & Partner Support

  • Liaise with PR agencies, writers, and freelancers
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality and brand standards

Candidate Profile Standard Role

Experience

  • 4-8+ years in brand communications, PR, or editorial-led marketing
  • Experience working with technology, electronics, or product-led brands
  • Exposure to press, magazines, newspapers, or trade media

Skills

  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving product environments
