Position: Assistant Manager

Experience: Minimum 5+ years

Salary Range: Rs 40,000 – Rs 50,000 per month

Reports To: Executive Director, TiE Chandigarh

The chapter runs multiple flagship programs including T-CHAI (angel investing), TiE University, TiE Women, leadership sessions, and high-impact community events.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead operations, program execution, and member engagement for TiE Chandigarh. This role requires a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, can manage multiple stakeholders, and can independently drive initiatives with strategic and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Program & Event Leadership

* Plan and execute major TiE programs, workshops, and chapter events end-to-end.

* Coordinate with core teams (Membership, TiE University, Health & Wellbeing, Angel Program) to deliver their annual activities.

* Manage budgets, vendors, logistics, and sponsor coordination.

  1. Member Engagement & Community Growth

* Serve as a primary point of contact for TiE members and partners.

* Strengthen member retention through structured engagement initiatives.

* Support "Members Connect" and other networking formats to build a vibrant entrepreneurial community.

  1. Operations & Administration

* Assist the Executive Director in chapter planning and smooth day-to-day functioning.

* Maintain dashboards, documentation, reports, and program KPIs.

* Ensure communication and coordination across stakeholders.

  1. Strategic & Research Support

* Contribute to new program development and ecosystem partnerships.

* Research trends, opportunities, and best practices in the startup space.

* Prepare presentations, sponsorship proposals, and leadership reports.

  1. Marketing & Communications

* Work with the Media & PR team to amplify events and chapter initiatives.

* Support email campaigns, newsletters, and outreach communication.

* Develop crisp content for promotions, recaps, and member stories.

Qualifications & Skills

* Master's degree (Business, Management, Entrepreneurship preferred).

* Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, operations, events, or Startup ecosystem roles.

* Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder-handling skills.

* Ability to multitask and operate in a high-energy, high-impact environment.

* Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM and event-management tools.

* Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution ability.
