The Banquet Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for driving banquet and event sales while ensuring seamless planning and execution of all banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events. This role combines sales, client relationship management, and on-ground operational leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve revenue targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Generate banquet and event revenue through proactive sales efforts, client meetings, and networking.
  • Handle inquiries for banquets, weddings, conferences, and social events from initial contact to contract closure.
  • Prepare and present customized proposals, menus, and event packages based on client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in line with company policies.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual banquet sales targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and travel partners.

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, service, décor, housekeeping, AV, and other departments to ensure flawless execution.
  • Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure accurate communication of event details to all stakeholders.
  • Conduct pre-event meetings and site inspections with clients and internal teams.

Banquet Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day banquet operations, including setup, service standards, and breakdown.
  • Ensure events are executed as per agreed specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Manage banquet staff scheduling, briefing, and supervision during events.
  • Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and handle on-site issues or complaints professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations.

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Control banquet costs, optimize resource utilization, and maximize profitability.
  • Track event billing, ensure timely invoicing, and coordinate payment follow-ups.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and post-event reviews.
  • Monitor inventory, equipment usage, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in banquet sales and operations within a hotel, resort, or event venue.
  • Proven track record in achieving banquet sales targets.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage operations and event management systems.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
