Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager position based in Kolkata. The Account Manager will oversee client accounts, ensuring the timely preparation and maintenance of financial records, bookkeeping, and tax filings. Responsibilities include providing financial consultancy, managing compliance documentation, liaising with clients to understand their needs, and delivering tailored solutions. The role also involves supporting start-up businesses with registrations and maintaining client relationships to ensure high satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Statements preparation
  • Knowledge of Tax Planning, Income Tax Filing, and GST Registration/Return Filing processes
  • Familiarity with compliance services such as Company Registration, ROC Filing, and Trade License Services
  • Experience with digital tools, including PAN/TAN registrations, Digital Signature, and GEM (Government e-Marketplace) Services
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CA or equivalent qualification is an advantage
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of relevant accounting software is a plus
