Position: Business Development Executive (BDE)

Industry: Home Healthcare / Medical Services

Location: Kolkata

Reporting To: Business Development Manager / General Manager

  1. Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for increasing patient acquisition, building strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, doctors, and other referral partners, and promoting all home healthcare services including nursing care, attendant care, physiotherapy, medical equipment, and diagnostics at home.

  1. Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Sales

· Identify and meet prospective clients, hospitals, consultants, and referral partners.

· Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.

· Generate leads through field visits, corporate meetings, and medical networks.

· Promote services such as home nursing, attendants, ICU setup, physiotherapy, and lab services.

Relationship Management

· Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, and patient families.

· Conduct regular follow-up visits to referral partners.

· Provide timely updates on patient onboarding and service status.

Operations Coordination

· Coordinate with the nursing team, equipment team, and operations team for smooth service delivery.

· Ensure proper documentation, patient assessment forms, quotations, and onboarding process.

· Ensure high customer satisfaction during service.

Marketing & Outreach

· Organize medical camps, awareness drives, and hospital desk activities.

· Distribute brochures, arrange tie-ups, and participate in health events.

· Prepare daily activity reports, visit logs, and lead updates.

  1. Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree (preferred: Healthcare, Business, Marketing).

· 1–3 years experience in sales, healthcare, pharma, diagnostics, or medical equipment (freshers welcome).

· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Willingness to travel for field visits.

· Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
