Role & responsibilities

  • Account Management: Handle direct Modern Trade accounts in Surat, ensuring consistent availability, visibility, and growth of Dabur products.
  • Business Development: Drive secondary and primary sales to achieve monthly and annual business targets (1.5 Cr portfolio).
  • Customer Relationship: Build and maintain effective relationships with store managers, category heads, and distribution partners.
  • Sales Execution: Implement planograms, visibility initiatives, and promotional schemes as per company guidelines.
  • Data & Analytics: Monitor sales trends, stock levels, and competitor activities; share actionable insights with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Merchandising & Activation: Ensure execution of in-store visibility, sampling, and promotional activations to enhance brand presence.
  • Reporting: Submit timely reports on sales performance, competitor insights, and market opportunities.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with distributors, merchandisers, and the supply chain team to ensure seamless operations.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education: Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: years of experience in FMCG Modern Trade / Key Account Management roles.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic and competitive environment.
