Market Analyst (Condiments & Spices)

Location: Bhubaneswar

Experience: 12 Years (Preferably in Spices/FMCG Industry)

Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Business Administration or related field

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Market Analyst to support our strategic efforts in the spices and masala segment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the FMCG food industry, with a focus on market research, consumer insights, product analysis, and go-to-market strategy development. This role is vital in driving business growth by providing actionable insights through the study of market trends, competitor brands, and customer feedback. Candidates with experience in the spice industry and a background in business administration or marketing are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed market research and analysis for spices and masala products.
  • Identify trends, consumer behavior, and opportunities in the condiments/spices category.
  • Develop and support Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for product launches and market expansion.
  • Analyze and benchmark existing brand performance and competitor strategies.
  • Design and execute marketing feedback collection initiatives to evaluate existing brand perception.
  • Collaborate with product development, sales, and marketing teams to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in the spices, condiments, or FMCG food sector, preferably in market analysis or marketing research roles.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and market research tools.
  • Understanding of product positioning, branding, and marketing strategy in the spices category.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret consumer feedback and transform it into actionable insights.
