Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement of Food & Beverages for City Mart Supermarket. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dealing with top FMCG companies such as FMCG Company and others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement for Food & Beverages across all supermarket outlets.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships with FMCG majors including FMCG Company, etc.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to maximize profitability.
- Ensure timely ordering, delivery, and stocking of food and beverage items as per demand.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
- Analyze sales trends and plan purchases accordingly.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, logistics, and store teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Evaluate new suppliers and products for better quality and margins.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
