Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Technical Writer located in Bengaluru. The Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, writing manuals, and ensuring clear and concise communication of technical information. The candidate will collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop comprehensive documentation that supports various use cases and enhances user understanding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical communication and writing, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Proficiency in video creation and editing using tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and product teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools and technologies.
  • Experience in the technology industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, and tutorials.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical content.
  • Edit and proofread documentation to maintain clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a video library of tutorials, demos, and instructional content related to our products/services.
  • Use video editing software to produce professional-grade videos.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to ensure documentation remains relevant and up-to-date.
